The Global Traditional Taekwondo Federation (GTTF) was founded by Grandmaster Jun Lee, a highly respected figure in the international Taekwondo community. His vision was to unite Taekwondo practitioners across all nations under one mission: preserving traditional values while fostering innovation in training, competition, and education.
Under GM Lee’s leadership, GTTF has grown into a global federation spanning over 40 countries, connecting schools, masters, and practitioners who share the same passion for excellence, respect, and unity.
Through international camps, seminars, and championships, GTTF continues to develop future leaders and ambassadors of Taekwondo across continents.

The GTTF Philippines serves as the official national chapter of the Global Traditional Taekwondo Federation - committed to advancing Taekwondo’s global standards within the Filipino martial arts community.
Founded under the leadership of President Master Donald David Geisler III, an Olympian and multi-awarded Taekwondo champion, GTTF-PH bridges local schools, instructors, and athletes with the global GTTF network.
Our Philippine chapter promotes structured ranking systems, instructor certification, and global-standard training for students and school owners, ensuring that Filipino practitioners are recognized worldwide.

Grandmaster Jun Lee, a 9th Dan (degree), is the founding President of the Global Traditional Taekwondo Federation (GTTF). Grandmaster Jun Lee was born in South Korea and has been teaching Taekwondo in the United States since 1982. In 2015, he became the youngest person ever to achieve 9th Dan by Kukkiwon. His commitment to Taekwondo is to preserve the values and philosophy of traditional Taekwondo and to nurture the next generation of Taekwondo leaders who can carry on that mission.

Master Donald David Geisler III is a highly respected Filipino Taekwondo athlete, coach, and mentor who has proudly represented the Philippines on numerous international stages, including the 2000 and 2004 Summer Olympic Games. Over the years, he has become one of the country’s most recognized figures in Taekwondo, admired not only for his competitive achievements but also for his dedication to the development of future martial artists and leaders.
GTTF Philippines is part of an international network of national federations under the GTTF umbrella - including member nations from Asia, Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Africa.
Our affiliations ensure that Filipino instructors and athletes are globally recognized and have access to international rankings, cross-training opportunities, and certification systems that meet world-class standards.
The unique cultural characteristic of the Philippines is anchored on the fact that we are community-builders, as evidenced by the Filipino Communities present in almost every country around the world. For Filipino Taekwondo Organizations outside the Philippines who are looking for a home where they will be recognized an official affiliates, GTTF Philippines has recently initiated the GTTF Philippines International Chapters- Filipino dojangs across the globe who wish to seek growth and recognition from both a global federation and a Philippine-based community where they can cross-train and enjoy local privileges when they visit the Motherland.
